About Kari Hoien

My name is Kari Hoien. As many of you know, I have been in the technology training field for more than 15 years. I also have a Masters in Education Technology from Pepperdine University in California.  As a mother of 4 kids, I’ve recently seen several intersections between motherhood and technology that I think would be helpful to share. The first, thinking about my own children’s safety on the internet and the second, engaging in conversations with other parents and providing ideas and tactics for keeping children safe. I am a firm believer in the internet and the wonderful tools and resources available to children but my kids safety while using it is equally as important. I thought I’d share with you the resources and tips I am implementing and finding for my own family.
